Astronomy has been a hot topic of debate and talks throughout the start of Human civilization. Since the starting of mankind, one can say Astronomy has born. With the humans need of understanding the nature of things around him, with the ever rotating earth and movement of stars, to the ptolemic system, Astronomy has been the earliest science among all. Even in India Astronomers like Aryabhata contributed greatly in Indian Astronomical context. ] Parts of Central India like Bhopal, India and Ujjain (In Madhya Pradesh) have always been famous for pre-historic monuments,that indicated the astronomical interest of people since that time. But these remains the monuments of the history. In current scenario, Astronomy has lost its place between the youngsters due to lack of appropriate centres and Astronomical hubs. Ever increasing rate of Light pollution in India, is also a cause of worry, among amateur astronomers. Clear skies by now are limited to the places like Hanle observatory (Home of Indian Astronomical Observatory) or diamondhabur in Kolkata. Amateurs have to travel miles to get a glimpse of good skies.
In Central India, There is lack of Astronomy club due to which people cannot get access to actual parameters of Amateur astronomy. There is only one vast Semi Governmental organisation working for the sake and promotion of Astronomy and Astrophysics. Named "Sky trackers and Astronomy researchers club" in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) have been promoting the need of amateur astronomy among all age groups in various parts of Madhya Pradesh and nearby areas.
What is an Astronomy club
Astronomy clubs are those centres in various part of country that works at amateur astronomy level. Astronomy club provides large source of information to people who are into the field of astronomy at professional level, as mere enthusiasts or hobbyist. These are easily accessible for the people locally. People can practise many things at Astronomy clubs. These basically refers to :
Night sky Observation (Observation of Messier object, Planetary Bodies etc.), Telescope Designing and usage, More information on movement and position of Celestial object, Tours to various Astronomical observatory
And various other things, an individual can get access to after joining an Astronomy club. The experience of Observation and night sky observation are among greatest fantasies of our Civilisation. Astronomy club are the perfect places that provides you wings to fly in the swarm of Professional Astronomy. Hence, Sky trackers and Astronomy researchers club was established in Bhopal to provide wings for the students having interest in amateur astronomy or Astrophysics.

Observatories are the places equipped with highly advanced Optical or Solar telescope and other electronic equipments. It is located in the best place for observation of the Cosmos, still is not in the reach of many hobbyist and enthusiasts. These places are meant mainly for research work and scientific observations. In India " Vainu bappu Observatory - Kavalur Observatory" in Kavalur has the largest Optical telescope planted, which is also counted as second largest optical telescope of Asia. Still to many fellow mates, visit to such observatories are not feasible. To help out such people and work as a group, "Astronomy clubs" are the best places. Astronomy clubs provide various opportunities to local individuals in enhancing their interests in astronomy through telescope observations, group discussions, Senior / professional training and many such activities.
Sky Trackers and Astronomy Researchers club is one such Astronomical organisation in Madhya Pradesh ( Central India ) where people can utilize resources and grab more information about the night skies, Observational and Theoretical Astronomy.
"Sky trackers and astronomy researchers club" abbreviated as STAR astronomy club has proudly presented itself, as the only reliable and best astronomical promoting agency in whole Central India. Registered with national aeronautics and space administration ( NASA ) the US space agency, Sky trackers and astronomy researchers club is working for the best possible astronomical boost at Bhopal. Also affiliated with governmental authorities of central India, Sky trackers and astronomy researchers club is a Profit organisation, helping students and other people achieve their extreme astronomical Goals.
